[1.12.2] Item picked up?

Hey,

In 1.10.2 for ItemPickupEvent, I would get the item picked up via pickedUp. How would you do this in 1.12.2? pickedUp is deprecated.

Please help.

Have you tried EntityItemPickupEvent?  it has the EntityItem, from which you could get the item information you'd need.

I'm using Forge 1.12.2-14.23.1.2555 and ItemPickupEvent#pickedUp is not deprecated.  Which Forge version are you using?

the latest for 1.12 (1.12.2 - 14.23.1.2589) and pickedUp is in fact deprecated.

I'll try using EntityItemPickupEvent instead and see if it works.

There are new methods in ItemPickupEvent, called ItemPickupEvent#getStack and ItemPickupEvent#getOriginalEntity. ItemPickupEvent#getOriginalEntity will return the same thing as ItemPickupEvent#pickedUp and  ItemPickupEvent#getStack returns the stack which was picked up.

ItemPickupEvent::getOriginalEntity#getItem()#getItem(); isn't working when compared to the correct item picked up

I'll try ItemPickupEvent::getStack();
