So I'm trying to blend my armor texture with various block textures in the models rendering code but I can't seem to get the block textures.

Using a ResourceLocation for the block doesn't return anything but the missing texture texture.

Minecraft.getMinecraft().getTextureManager().bindTexture(new ResourceLocation("minecraft", "blocks/prismarine_bricks"));

I've also tried getting the texture entry but once I have the TextureAtlasSprite I don't know how to bind it for use on a model. Is there a way to do this or another way to get a blocks texture to bind?

textureManager.bindTexture(new ResourceLocation("textures/blocks/planks_oak.png"));

This works just fine for me when putting it on my mimic blocks. Maybe it works for your armor too, as long as the UV coordinates match.

Oh hey, that worked! Thanks!

New issue though is the UV coords don't match and it winds up very stretched, anyone know how to force it to tile?
