Buckets Cause Minecraft to Crash

crash report is attached. any attempt to make a bucket, empty or filled, leads to a crash, both in creative and survival mode

aaaaand it works now. which makes sense, bc the crash report did mention wawla

yo, it happened again, this time w/o any obvious mod as the culprit. but this time the problem is filling a bucket, so that's at least something new

Are you using a bucket or fluid from a mod?

I guess you just have to start removing mods till you find out which one it is.

it's definitely not a mod. I was using atlauncher, so I switched and installed minecraft directly on this computer, ran the forge installer and got it working w/ all the same mods

 

but now I kind of want to know if there's a way to fix this w/o using the installer, bc I can't/don't know how to use that w/ a modpack launcher
