Hello. Most of my Forge playing has been on 1.7.10, and it has been working smoothly. Recently I found a mod that I wanted to play only on 1.12.2. I decided to download the mod and Forge 1.12.2. I follow the process. I go to my launcher, select the Forge 1.12.2, and click play. The launcher closes like normal, but, nothing. Nothing opens. After 10 minutes and multiple tries, no game window opens. I tried turning on the output log into the launcher. It opens, but the game doesn't. I can read the log for a second but then it becomes grey with the "Minecraft launcher has stopped working". That multiple times as well. I've tried using different versions of Forge too. I've deleted and reinstalled it. Nothing works.

Well the fact that you are viewing them means they have to be in there somewhere. I'm just not willing to view a lot of different screenshots to help you solve this. The logs are in the Minecraft/logs folder or in the Minecraft/crash reports folder. Please upload those.
