Hello everyone,

 

My forge crashes before loading up its files or library so I cannot run it, it is the 1.12 version like the version of Minecraft I'm running, I'm able to run Optifine like I do Forge though. I'm old/new again to this moding of Minecraft that is and somewhat struggle with the more advanced technical terms although I can usually figure this stuff out after troubleshooting myself. This time I'm stuck before I ever even started. All questions and advice are welcome as I'm unsure how to get my error log from the game to show you all which I would gladly attach would I know where to find it. Thank you in advance. I have a single mod installed, GLSL Shaders, I cannot seem to move or delete it from my mods folder even though the forge never set up through the launcher.

 

Update : Reinstalled the ran my forge again, error message popped up, different from the original one I got several times :  The game crashed whilst initializing game
Error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: cdd

Tells me my game is unsupported and modified. 

 

Update : Reinstalling the game by deleting the versions in the versions folder let me delete the Shader mod I had stuck in there and install Forge.

I have an idea of what might be going on, please read my signature and post the appropriate log as described.

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.
