[1.12.2] Conquest Reforged mod - connected textures not working

Hi.
So, I've installed the "Conquest Reforged" mod, as well as the resourcepack needed for it to work. I have Optifine installed and I'm certain that I'm not missing any mods or things like that for Conquest Reforged to work properly.
However, I'm sure that Optifine isn't connecting the textures. Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks.

I've attached 3 examples (including the stone in the background, which shouldn't be in such a pattern).

For anyone still searching for a fix, it's likely an easy one, or a difficult one.

If you are using the Conquest Reforged Mod or Mod pack, you also need the Conquest Reforged texture pack. There are 2 texture packs. One for the Vanilla game and one for the mod. If your modded blocks are not connecting, it's likely because you're using the Vanilla version of the texture pack, or you have an incompatible version of Optifine.

As for the other issue, which is the one I'm having, I have no idea how to fix it. I'm using the 1.12.2, 3.0.2 version of Reforged and Optifine version 1.12.2 HD U F4.

Conquest Reforged Texturepack: All of the modded blocks added by Reforged connected textures work fine. None of the Vanilla blocks connected textures work.

Conquest Vanilla Texturepack: None of the modded blocks added by Reforged connected textures work. All of the Vanilla blocks connected textures work.

I have also tried running both texture packs together, which changed nothing from running only the Reforged Texturepack.

Hopefully your issue was the first one, and not mine. No idea how to fix it. Iv'e tried every optifine version for 1.12.2.
