Forge Server Not Opening And Providing Necessary Files

I've tried multiple versions of forge for multiple versions of Minecraft, even 1.12.2.

I've done successful servers before. 

 

Forge servers won't even open the first time to provide me the EULA, Mods folder, server.properties, etc.

The vanilla Minecraft servers work just fine, but the forge one's don't. 

When I click on the forge, the folder just stays like this, and won't give me any more files:

Post any logs you can find, computer specs, how your launching the sever & your java version

I have Java 8 Update 181. 

Is java configured correctly? What does the java version command (in cmd) say? Does the system say why it didn’t work (error message? System log)

cmd doesnt tell me my java version.

Run 

“which java”

and

“java -version”

and

”echo $JAVA_HOME”

and post the results.

”java -Xmx1G -Xms1G -jar FILE_LOCATION.jar nogui

      Compiling Java using Gradle with Forge 1.18.2 MDK gives obfuscation errors

      Hello! I'm currently having issues while building a jar file for my Minecraft 1.18.2 Forge mod. I've attached a link to imgur below that holds two screenshots of the errors. I'm using Jetbrains IntelliJ IDEA 2024.1 and Gradle 8.4. This is my repo: Mod Repo When I was modding, I needed to build the mod in order to test the mod, which didn't work, as the first screenshot gives. It throws errors for each classes in the forge registry class (or whatever the hell that mess is) and is just generally confusing. Now I have deleted everything in my project folder and re-pulled the repo from github, which now gives the errors in the second image where all forge classes are not imported somehow. When I try to build it now, it just repeats the same errors in the first image. https://imgur.com/a/DYwSKqJ Please I need help desparately

      I have no idea - maybe switch to a pre-configured modpack and use it as working base Then add new mods one by one
