Port a fix of freezing when exiting a LAN world?

This bug happens in most cases; it was fixed by Mojang in 1.13, but not in 1.12, so it would be nice if you could port a fix from 1.13 to Forge for 1.12.2

Quick question, why would we do this instead of updating to 1.13?

Because 1.12.2 is potentionally going to be supported by many mods like with 1.7.10;

If remember correctly, Forge currently still releases updates for 1.12.2?

But that’s the point of releasing new versions, bug fixes and new features. Yes, Forge is still updateing 1.12.2 (for the next few days)

Minecraft Mod Gradle Build not working

The settings.gradle file has been fixed. But, the build.gradle has an error now.
Error:

[SOLVED][1.21.8 | Forge 58.0.5] How to cancel InputEvent.MouseScrollingEvent?

Personally, I just use event.SetCanceled(true) in my handler and it blocks the scroll well.
Even if the method does not appear clear, it is available via the Cancellable interface.
It works at home without additional hacks.
