When I try to test Forge (using magic launcher) it will say "There was fatal error starting up Minecraft and FML, please consult the file C:/Users/*****/AppData/Roaming/minecraft/ForgeModLoader-Client-0.jog  for further information"

I tried redownloading Forge 1.5 and I tried the JavaDoc and Source downloads but they didn't work. I saw some other peoples problems that were like this in this section but I don't know if I have the same exact problem. 

I have already read EAQ with the extract solution. I don't know exactly how to do it and I don't want to screw up anything by accident.

I was deleting the current lib files to put the downloads in but its saying it can't delete them because the file is open in another folder. The only folder I have up is the libs folder. Minecraft and the magiclauncher are closed down.

Same problem here, I've emptied the .lib file and put the fresh downloads in, but it still gives me what appears to be the same error.
