Scala-Library Bugs

[Deeze_]

I'm trying to make my first mod, but when I try to install forge src I get the error "error: error reading C:\Users\\Desktop\mod\lib\scala-library.jar; error in opening zip file"

I've tried to search around, and found an answer on this forum, but the solution didn't work for me.

 

I was hoping that someone here had the similar problem, or just knew how I could fix this.

EDIT:

It is 1.5.2 Minecraft I'm trying to mod for, I don't know if that matters or not.

Try rebuilding with gradle.

Don't think gradle is included with 1.5.2 Forge (?)

The support for 1.5.2 was dropped a looooong time ago. I doubt you'll get any help here unless you update to a more recent version (1.8+, preferably 1.12.2).

Even 1.8 won't get you support, use 1.10+
