sorry for the late reaction but i was trying a ngrok for a sort of lan server and i saw this:

[16:27:47] [Server thread/WARN] [FML]: Mod codechickenlib is missing the required element 'version' and a version.properties file could not be found. Falling back to metadata version 3.2.2.353
[16:27:48] [Server thread/WARN] [FML]: Mod ironchest is missing the required element 'version' and a version.properties file could not be found. Falling back to metadata version 1.12.2-7.0.40.824
[16:27:48] [Server thread/WARN] [FML]: Mod veinminer is missing the required element 'version' and a version.properties file could not be found. Falling back to metadata version 0.38.2
[16:27:48] [Server thread/WARN] [FML]: Mod veinminermodsupport is missing the required element 'version' and a version.properties file could not be found. Falling back to metadata version 0.38.2

does version and version properties mean the version that i needed to type in a command line

Is this you trying to move the goalposts?

What you posted has nothing to do with a crash, only warnings.

At the end of the bat file that Diesieben quoted to you add “pause” to a new line, this will keep the window open until you press a key and will allow you to see any errors the server is spitting out.

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.

When I said “moving the goalposts” I meant Diesieben told you to do something and you went and did something totally different.
