Hi, so I recently made a forge server with the 1.12.2 version. It runs and starts up just fine but for some reason the mods I have installed don't seem to work. I've made sure they're all compatible version: Buildcraft-7.99.19 , jei_1.12.2-4.14.4.254, Mantle-1.11.3.3.39, Tconstruct-1.12.2-2.12.0.113 and TreeCapitator-1.12. I tried to place down a mining well form the buildcraft mod and it just blinked then vanished and it also happened with a smelter control block. ( used both to test it the mods worked) 
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

The symptoms you are describing indicate you are probably running a vanilla server or a Forge server without the mods installed.

I do have a mod folder in the forge server with the mods inside as well as in my .Minecraft folder

What are the contents of start.bat?

What is in the mods folder of the server?

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

 

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

Well there you go, you're starting a vanilla server.

Replace minecraft_server.1.12.2.jar with the forge jar.

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

No, you want to remove minecraft_server.1.12.2.jar from the bat file and replace it with the name of the forge jar which I don't feel like transcribing from your image.

Also, where are you getting your mods?

Hi again, so the server it's self works fine but I seem to be running into issues with port forwarding. I go through spectrum en can post router pictures if needed.
