So, I have a huge issue, and I have not managed to fix it myself. Minecraft Forge will run the base game of Minecraft, but when I try to use any mods (it's not a problem with a certain mod, it's all mods, I tested), the game will not open. Java shows up in Task Manager, however Java doesn't do anything and is labeled as a background process. I have tried every possible thing, and nothing works. The last time the game worked was about a week ago, and I have not used Minecraft at all (didn't launch game, didn't put mods in, didn't take mods out, didn't change configs, nothing) since that week. If someone knows what the issue is, please help, it would be greatly appreciated.

I can't because with the game not launching at all, I have to task kill java with task manager, giving the standard "minecraft has crashed sorry for the inconvenience" message, and no crash report.

Java doesn't wan't to launch Forge unless I remove all the 95(?) mods I have on it.

Nevermind, I found this file. I don't know how to open it, but it's date is today, so I'm guessing it's the log that's required. When the word "log" was mentioned, I thought it was referring to a crash log.

that makes sense, i task killed minecraft when its CPU usage dropped to 0%. I'll try again without doing a task kill and see what happens.

it's been about 10-15 minutes and minecraft has not done a thing.

edit: holy heck i found my issue and the solution which was i had to task kill both minecraft launchers running in the background because that's 100% logical and makes sense
