Hello,

I've been working on a custom boat, and it's twice the length of the normal boat, and is thus not square. I've been able to successfully add a second hitbox using a custom MultiPartEntityPart, but I can't get the part to be solid like the normal hitbox of the boat. In my custom boat class, I've utilized the part just as it's used in the Enderdragon class. Below is the code for my custom MultiPartEntityPart. I've asked around and I've not been able to find a solution. Does anyone know how I could make it solid?

import net.minecraft.entity.Entity;
import net.minecraft.entity.IEntityMultiPart;
import net.minecraft.entity.MultiPartEntityPart;
import net.minecraft.entity.player.EntityPlayer;
import net.minecraft.util.DamageSource;
import net.minecraft.util.EnumActionResult;
import net.minecraft.util.EnumHand;
import net.minecraft.util.math.AxisAlignedBB;
import net.minecraft.util.math.MathHelper;
import net.minecraft.util.math.Vec3d;
import net.minecraftforge.fml.relauncher.Side;
import net.minecraftforge.fml.relauncher.SideOnly;

public class MultiPartBoatEntityPart extends MultiPartEntityPart {

	public MultiPartBoatEntityPart(IEntityMultiPart parent, String partName, float width, float height) {
		super(parent, partName, width, height);
	}

	@Override
	public AxisAlignedBB getCollisionBox(Entity entityIn) {
		return this.getEntityBoundingBox();
	}

	@Override
	public boolean canBeCollidedWith() {
		return true;
	}

}

Does anyone know a solution to this? I've still not been able to fix it.

AFAIK getCollisonBox doesn't need to be square.

While hitboxes are able to have a separate height, their width and depth have to be the same.
