I'm modding on a mac right now and I'm running into a problem. Any time I try to add any assets whatsoever I get a crash.

It says something about a .DS_Store file in the log, I know mac's usually generate those for their folders but I don't understand why it's causing my game to crash.

Here is my latest log

and the crash report

It looks like there is a folder called .DS_Store with a file sounds.json inside it. So Minecraft tries to parse .DS_Store as a resource domain, and fails.

I am not a Mac user, but... turn off whatever this "feature" is.

.DS_Store is a file that contains directory metadata IIRC. There should never be a folder called .DS_Store.
