Posted March 13, 20196 yr is there a way to disable recipes of mod items? Thus having a boolean (that ultimately can be stored in the mods config) that will decide if an items recipe will be enabled. I was thinking of making certain items of my mod only available in creative or by directly creating it instead of creating it by crafting. running minecraft on Mac OS X - Sierra --- creating code since 1986 ... --- मेरा दिल भारतवासी है! http://www.arno-saxena.de/pictures/chococraft/banner_signature.png[/img]
March 14, 20196 yr By default your items don't have any recipes until you define the recipe using the json file What did you do that results in enabled item recipes

What I have done is creating json files for recipes. This should be the default. But I want to give the users the opportunity to disable the recipes by a config file entry... anyway ... running minecraft on Mac OS X - Sierra --- creating code since 1986 ... --- मेरा दिल भारतवासी है! http://www.arno-saxena.de/pictures/chococraft/banner_signature.png[/img]

March 14, 20196 yr I know there is a way to register them only if another mod is installed, and you can look at forge’s ConditionFactory. Well, I thought you're just going to disable recipe without the user doing it. The conditional recipe should work for you. Good luck!
