1.12.2 Forge Crash

Hello im having trouble launching my forge. I do not have any mods installed on this version of forge. My 1.8.9 version works perfectly fine, but 1.12.2 is having issues.

 

I tried looking online for the specific error and couldnt find much of anything, I also checked the common errors. I feel like im missing somthing or im just stupid but here you go anyway.

 

Whenever I open my game it - (says unpacking at bottom) - (closes the launcher window) - (reopens launher saying loading) - then gives me this error -

You are running 1.12.2 with 1.8.9 Optifine, this is not going to work at all.

Optifine versions are only tested to work with specific builds of Forge, as stated in their changelog, please make sure you get an Optifine and Forge version that match.

Thanks a lot, I knew I was doing something wrong! I put in an updated optifine that matches with the forge version. Thank you so much!
