I'm running on the newest recommended version of forge and this line of code has an error that CAVE cannot be resolved to a variable

caveGenerator = TerrainGen.getModdedMapGen(caveGenerator, CAVE);

I think it is something that does not exist in that code anymore but I don't know what I need to change it to to get the error to go away

You are using a variable called CAVE, but it does not exist.

You have to create it (unless it is a property of a superclass).

Either way, this should be basic java.

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

I think in a previous version of forge it was assigned somewhere in TerrainGen as InitMapGenEvent.EventType.CAVE but got changed. however I managed to find that so I'm all good now
