Posted May 6, 20196 yr Is there a way in 1.13.2 to create a custom EnumCreatureType? Previously there was EnumHelper but that no longer exists I don't believe.

May 7, 20196 yr All enums that are extensible in 1.13+ will have a static create() method patched in by Forge.

I saw that there was an EnumCreatureType.create() method but all it does is throw an exception, so I am assuming it just hasn't been implemented yet?

The implementation of the create method is generated at runtime for enums that implement IExtensibleEnum. See the doc comment on IExtensibleEnum for more information. Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.
