I have no idea why this isn't working, I even deleted the file it mentions to try to fix it but it still happens.

Please help... This has been happening to me ever since 1.13.2's Forge released

Try deleting that jar file and having the Minecraft Launcher re-download it, it's possible it's corrupted.

Curse/Overwolf: If you are using the Curse Launcher, their configurations break Forge's log settings, fortunately there is an easier workaround than I originally thought, this works even with Curse's installation of the Minecraft launcher as long as it is not launched THROUGH Twitch:

Sry, did not understand. So, what u did was deleting that jar file and "re-install" minecraft?

No, just restarting the launcher or re-launching the game should have the launcher detect the file is missing and re-download it.

That didn't work I think I just got the "recommended" forge installer instead of the "latest" although maybe it was because I tried without the forge installed and restarted minecraft

1.13.2 isn't supported anymore, if you're referring to 1.14.4, try the latest version of Forge.

hello i have the same error i erased the jar files and it didnt work. What else i can do?

it says that both files are different to the expected

  I want to add a geckolib(5.0.0) entity model and animations into the latest version of forge, minecraft 1.21.5 but I've tried everything and it seem like it didnt work, I have finished the Render, Model, Register, Entity creation script and all that, and I 100% have geckolib downloaded(in libs folder) The file path should be correct too (idk i may be stupid) but everytime i run minecraft i just end up having a issue : Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unable to find model file: modded_boss_fight:geo/toaa and instantly crashing, even though using a print statement shows that its looking down the right path and also i tried deleting and readding those files just incase it was corrupted, but I dont know Im new and I couldnt find much to help me online so I come to hopefully idk someone save me https://imgur.com/a/ZQdNWuI ^ link to photos of my script that looks for the files and my file structure itself pls

  I've been attempting to trouble shoot performance issues with this version of forge - I've been getting 10 - 14 FPS on a fresh install while the same settings on vanilla will net me ~ 250 FPS I've tried setting ram to 2, 4, 6, 8, 16 GB, making sure that the GPU is being used - although i cant confirm other than the F3 screen - I've cleared out my .Minecraft folder and done a fresh install of forge multiple times, I even reinstalled Java 17 - from what i read this is the recommended for this version of MC, - Graphics drivers are fully up to date and I've tried it on both studio and game ready drivers.   I created a Modpack Forge in 1.20.1 for my friend and I. There are 135 mods including "Essential". I was able to play an 8 hour session without problem but when I relaunch my world, I crashed when I opened the menu of the game "ESC" or after about 15 minutes of session.
