Hey everyone,

I've been trying for a couple of hours to get TerraFirmaCraft installed.

Problem with this mod is that its latest build only works on minecraft 1.4.6.

To play this mod I need Forge.

First I downgraded minecraft to 1.4.6 using Minecraft Version Changer. (MCNostalgia doesn't work with 1.5.1)

When I then copy the Forge 6.5.0.486 zip for Minecraft 1.4.6 (like recommended by the TerraFirmaCraft devs) into the Minecraft 1.4.6 Jar-file and restart Minecraft, there is no "Mods" option on the Main Menu. Nowhere is indicated Forge is installed and inside my .minecraft folder there is no subfolder called "mods".

I never even got the "FML is setting up your minecraft environment" loading screen.

I did start up minecraft after downgrading it and before changing the jar file to be sure to have the right version.

Can anybody help me with this problem?

Many thanks.

Use build 534 and MC 1.4.7, terrafirma should work.

Also delete meta inf before installing.

If it crashes get logs.

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.

Thanks a lot!

I'll try it out tomorrow or the day after that. I'm a bit busy now. I'll reply again if I tried it out.

Hey!

Build 76 came out for Minecraft 1.5.1.

So, no need to play with downgrading minecraft and all that.

Thanks anyway!
