I'm following a tutorial on how to install forge and set up the workspace for Minecraft 1.12.2.

When I try to do 'gradlew setupDecompWorkspace eclipse' it outputs:

'Documents\Desktop\modding\MyFirstMod\' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
Error: Could not find or load main class org.gradle.wrapper.GradleWrapperMain

Double-clicking the gradlew.bat file also outputs those first two lines.

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

incorrect version stated

What version? The "most recent version of Minecraft" is 1.14.2 and that command was removed between 1.12.2 and 1.13.

Versions below 1.14.4 are no longer supported on this forum. Use the latest version to receive support.

When asking support remember to include all relevant log files (logs are found in .minecraft/logs/), code if applicable and screenshots if possible.

Ah yes, my mistake. It's version 1.12.2. Not sure why I said 'most recent', my bad

If you're running gradlew.bat setupDecompWorkspace it should work.

unfortunately, it does not. Is there any alternative method I could try that might bypass this issue?

Fixed.

For some reason, moving the file into my SSD (C drive) instead of my HDD (D drive) fixed the problem
