BenMonkeyMommy Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 I had an older version of Forge, I believe it was 1.12...but I was using it in conjunction with WorldEdit to work on maps. I have not done this in awhile. I started back to making worlds and big builds, but am now doing so in 1.14.3 worlds. I got the installer from here (minecraftforge.net). Every time I try to install Forge 1.14.3, I get an error or "These libraries failed to download. Try again." with a HUGE list of library names. No huge I cannot even move that error window OR copy & paste the entire contents of said window. I have tried many things. I have tried getting rid of all old Forge files. I have re-started my computer and re-trying the download and install. I googled it, and found a few suggestions. I tried the one where you use CMD and issue a command about java, and "stackable" being in the command. I also tried navigating to the forge .jar file in windows browser, shifting + right-click and doing the "open command window here" and doing that command. Both times, all it does it open the Forge .jar file back to where you can choose "Install", "Install Server", or "Extract", and I get stuck in the same loop of getting the error about all those libraries failing to download. Forge01.jpg image is the prompt window I get when I click the Forge .jar to try to install it. I leave it exactly how it it set and hit "OK". Forge02.jpg is the window I get popping up after I hot "OK" from the Forge01.jpg image. Forge03.jpg is a screen shot of part of the long list of libraries it tells me failed to download. Again, this window is so tall, I cannot move it up/down to screen shot the rest. Any help? I would like to get Forge installed so I can also get the most recent WorldEdit to work on stuff. And and all help is greatly appreciated. Quote
BenMonkeyMommy Posted July 8, 2019 Author Posted July 8, 2019 Oh my gosh...you don't know how much I like you right now! I spent hours trying ti figure it out myself, and searches. Everything I could find needed you to install 2+ programs, or other stuff. I updated the Java like you said...and it worked! Although, I had i set to auto-update, so I have no idea why it had not. But yay! You fixed my problem! Quote
