Where Do I Register This Class

So Im modifying an RPG mod trying to display stats within a bauble menu. I got the proof of concept working in a compile where I mapped quark's search bar to the bauble screen. But then the next compile threw an error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/minecraftforge/client/event/GuiScreenEvent$InitGuiEvent$Post.

Removing MinecraftForge.EVENT_BUS.register(new StatsScreen()); from preinit gets rid of the problem, but then my gui modification won't show. How it works is it subscribes to Gui events and checks if it's the baubles gui. Then it will render my gui on top.

I just need to get this working before I can modify the code and make it into my own stats gui.

How did you solve it in the end? Could you share the solution in case someone else runs into the same problem?

BTW: I think it is a bit unfair to allege the people here of not helping or answering questions. Your other post is just 10 hours old and it is weekend.

Nvm I fixed it myself. I guess I can't expect any help here as another post I asked wasn't answered either.

"Oh I posted my problem and nobody replied me for an entire 2 seconds!!! I guess people here are not capable."

That was a bit exaggerated but the point remains. People here don't spend their entire life on the forum. Most people took 2-4 days to reply.

Don't call client-only code on the server.

In this case, creating a separate and client-specific event subscriber bus will fix the problem.

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

5. Learn to use your IDE, especially the debugger.

Support & Bug Reports:

Spoiler

1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s).

2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
