Biomes o plenty problems

Alright, so I installed the biomes o plenty mod a day ago and I noticed that I’m missing a bunch of features. I have every biome, but no quicksand, hot spring water or  anything to make terrariums with. Almost all my doors look the same with just a different color, while they are supposed to have different designs. It is really confusing so I wondered what went wrong. Can anyone help?
