Posted August 17, 20196 yr Title Explains So I have no idea what else to do. Model: Spoiler @SideOnly(Side.CLIENT) public class ModelGamut extends ModelBase { public ModelRenderer test_cube; public ModelGamut(float scale) { test_cube = new ModelRenderer(this,0,0); test_cube.addBox(-4.0F, 16.0F, -4.0F, 8, 8, 8); test_cube.setRotationPoint(0f, 8f, 0f); } @Override public void render(Entity entity, float f1, float f2, float f3, float f4, float f5, float scale) { this.setRotationAngles(f1, f2, f3, f4, f5, scale, entity); test_cube.render(scale); } @Override public void setRotationAngles(float limbSwing, float limbSwingAmount, float ageInTicks, float netHeadYaw, float headPitch, float scaleFactor, Entity entityIn) { this.test_cube.rotateAngleX =0; } } Render: Spoiler public class RenderGamut extends RenderLiving<Gamut> { private static final ResourceLocation TEST_TEXTURES = new ResourceLocation("texture/entity/gamut/gamut.png"); public RenderGamut(RenderManager renderer) { super(renderer, new ModelGamut(16), 0.25f); } @Override public void doRender(Gamut entity, double x, double y, double z, float entityYaw, float partialTicks) { GlStateManager.pushMatrix(); GlStateManager.translate(x,y,z); this.bindEntityTexture(entity); // AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE? GlStateManager.popMatrix(); super.doRender(entity,x, y, z, entityYaw, partialTicks); } protected ResourceLocation getEntityTexture(Gamut entity) { return TEST_TEXTURES; } } ClientProxy Spoiler public class ClientProxy implements IProxy { @Override public void preInit(FMLPreInitializationEvent event) { RenderingRegistry.registerEntityRenderingHandler(Gamut.class, RenderGamut::new); } @Override public void init(FMLInitializationEvent event) { } @Override public void postInit(FMLPostInitializationEvent event) { } @Override public EntityPlayer getPlayerEntityFromContext(MessageContext ctx) { return null ; } @Override public void serverStarting(FMLServerStartingEvent event) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub } } Relevant CommonProxyStuff inside base class of mod Spoiler @EventHandler public void preInit(FMLPreInitializationEvent event) { CapabilityManager.INSTANCE.register(IReplicator.class, new ReplicatorStorage(), new ReplicatorFactory()); CapabilityManager.INSTANCE.register(IServer.class, new ServerStorage(), new ServerFactory()); info = new Information(); logger = event.getModLog(); ModBlocks.init(); ModItems.init(); proxy.preInit(event); } @EventHandler public void init(FMLInitializationEvent event) { PTLPacketHandler.INSTANCE.registerMessage(MyMessageHandler.class, MyMessage.class, 0, Side.SERVER); PTLPacketHandler.INSTANCE.registerMessage(InfoHandler.class, InfoMessage.class, 1, Side.CLIENT); MinecraftForge.EVENT_BUS.register(new CapabilityHandler()); MinecraftForge.EVENT_BUS.register(new MyEventHandler()); proxy.init(event); ModEntities.init(); } @EventHandler public void start(FMLServerStartingEvent event){ event.registerServerCommand(new TeamGenCommand()); PermissionAPI.registerNode("pushthelineMC.OP.OP", DefaultPermissionLevel.OP , "OP commands"); } My ModEntityInit Spoiler @Mod.EventBusSubscriber(modid=ExampleMod.MODID) public class ModEntities { public static final EntityEntry GAMUT = new EntityEntry(Gamut.class, ExampleMod.MODID + ":Gamut"); public static final EntityEntry[] ENTITIES = new EntityEntry[] { GAMUT }; static { GAMUT.setRegistryName(ExampleMod.MODID + ":Gamut"); GAMUT.setEgg(new EntityEggInfo(new ResourceLocation(ExampleMod.MODID + ":Gamut"), 0xFFFFFF, 0xAAAAAA)); } public static void init() { } @SubscribeEvent public static void registerEntities(RegistryEvent.Register<EntityEntry> e) { ExampleMod.logger.info("Registering Entities."); e.getRegistry().registerAll(ModEntities.ENTITIES); } } Am I doing some things in the wrong order or missing steps? Texture isn't null, I've checked. When I attempt to spawn using command or egg, nothing apparent happens. By making the entity send message to all players on it's first update in it's update loop, I confirmed that it was summoned but no bounding box or rendered. Sorry if I overlooked anything important to post. Edited August 17, 20196 yr by goodiesohhi
