Hey there

I am trying to give the player an item when he logs in/creates a new world.

I have posted my code below

	@Override
public void onPlayerLogin(EntityPlayer player) {
	  EntityPlayer player1 = ((EntityPlayer)MinecraftServer.getServer().getConfigurationManager().playerEntityList.get(0));
         	player1.inventory.addItemStackToInventory(new ItemStack(Item.arrow,1));
}

This is not working, I have put it in my Savehandler, tickhandler and my main mod file with no sucsess

Anyway I could do that? IF you can reply with the answer, thanks in advance!

Dont know how to in the sense that your talking about but you could always have it spawn in the bonus chest at 100%

Use examples, i have aspergers.

Examples make sense to me.

This is my code

@Override

public void onPlayerLogin(EntityPlayer player) {

  EntityPlayer player1 = ((EntityPlayer)MinecraftServer.getServer().getConfigurationManager().playerEntityList.get(0));

        player1.inventory.addItemStackToInventory(new ItemStack(Item.arrow,1));

}

Use a class that extends IConnectionHandler and use the playerLoggedIn() method.

for example:

@Override
    public void playerLoggedIn(Player player, NetHandler netHandler, INetworkManager manager) {
          (EntityPlayerMP) player.inventory.addItemStackToInventory(new ItemStack(Item.arrow,1));
    }

I am Mew. The Legendary Psychic. I behave oddly and am always playing practical jokes.

I have also found that I really love making extremely long and extremely but sometimes not so descriptive variables. Sort of like what I just did there xD

Thanks! I implemented the Connections handler and it worked!

Your welcome!  ;D
