Don't know what happened, suddenly I can't launch minecraft anymore I tried uninstalling minecraft completely and removing all of my mods.  I can launch Vanilla just fine, but installing Forge causes insta-crash

I'm running 64-bit Ubuntu

Forge 28.0.75

Minecraft 1.14.4

I have both java 8 and 11 runtimes

Use Java 8 to run Minecraft, your computer has chosen to use 11 which Forge is not compatible with at this time.

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.
