Download Optifine and run the jar file by clicking on it: https://optifine.net/adloadx?f=OptiFine_1.20.1_HD_U_I6.jar Start Minecraft and make sure you are using the Optifine profile (Minecraft already contains Java 17) Start this profile once and close the game in main menu Download some shaders: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/search?page=1&pageSize=20&sortBy=relevancy&class=shaders&version=1.20.1 and put these into the shaderpacks folder in your .minecraft directory Start the game with the Optifine profile - you can enable shaders in the settings then -
