Hello. What I am looking for is a tool that I can use on my server so a player with the vanilla client can connect to the server normally, but if the player has Minecraft Forge installed, they have the option to go through a portal or something and enter a modded world with Forge.

 

Is this possible with current 1.5 code? I understand this would involve having a custom server jar that could handle the players logging in with and without forge.

 

I found something exactly like this for 1.2.5 but it was never updated.

 

Something like this would be perfect for my server and I would really appreciate if someone could inform me of an existing tool or if you are a sufficient coder, make me something like it (I know something like this isn't easy).

It's dependent on the modder declaring whether it's content should be required for connection or not...
