Greetings, I downloaded the twitch app to use it with modpacks with forge of course, but no matter what modpack I use, it always gives me this error:
 unknown.png

I googeld a bunch and was still unable to find out what jopt-simple-5.0.3.jar is, and I don't know how to download it. When getting the latest debug.log it only shows the logs for the previous time I played, but nothing showing the launcher crashing each time I press Play on it. As such I have copied the launching logs from the minecraft launcher and pasted those into a pastebin instead, apologies if I am not being of help. (https://pastebin.com/FrchdWK7)

Go to the C:\Users\kuhak_000\Twitch\Minecraft\Install\libraries\net\sf\jopt-simple\jopt-simple\5.0.3\ folder and put this: [DOWNLOAD LINK] inside.

A few bytes about me:

public class Xander402 extends Modder implements IForumMember {
    int javaExperience, moddingExperience;
    LearningWay preferredLearningWay;
    public Xander402() {
        this.javaExperience = BIG;
        this.moddingExperience = NOT_SO_BIG;
        this.preferredLearningWay = LearningWay.through("exampes");
      	super(/*displayName*/"Xander402", /*moddingSince*/"1.9", preferredLearningWay);
    }
    @Override
    public Goal getReasonOfJoining(Forum forum) { return new Goal(() -> { while (true) moddingExperience++; }); }
}

I opened that file place, and the exact same .jar file was already there.

Yeah, replace it. Nothing might happen, but this is the only idea that comes to my mind (some troubles with downloading that file via the application).

@Xander402 Don't rehost files, especially when the error gives you a valid official URL

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.

Yeah, right ... I downloaded it for myself to calculate the SHA1 checksum and then I forgot that I only downloaded it, not modified. ?

Xander's solution is correct, however you should be getting the file from the official source.
