I'm trying to install Minecraft forge 1.7.10(link: https://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.7.10.html), but when I click windows installer it pops up with thisCapture.PNG.f210f63cc519edd80499f67e9a8bc684.PNG. I click OK then this link pops up "https://www.java.com/en/download/" I'm guessing to install the latest version. I click install, it then installs and says it's finished, but as I go to redownload forge 1.7.10, the same issue pops up. I've done this multiple times and don't know how to fix it.

1.7.10 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age.

Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.
