Hello, forum.

I have been having issues with Minecraft lately. ever since I got a new GPU and reinstalled all the drivers, Minecraft seemed to just stop working right.

I'd only have 3-8 FPS while playing.

I have tried to go into the runtime file like people have told me to, but that didn't help.

when I went into my BIOS and changed GPU to PCI-e, it still used the onboard graphics of my CPU.

I am in distress and need help with the issue, so if anybody knows how to fix it, please comment on this post.

Three things:

  1. I have never needed to change these settings -- only the amount of RAM allocated to the game in the launcher profile.
  2. Is this related to Forge or Modding?
  3. Regardless of whether this is related to those, pretty sure Modder Support isn't the place for this... This would probably be better in either Minecraft General or General Discussion -- you'd probably get more help there besides.

Sorry I can't be of more help though. :(

How to ask a good coding question: https://stackoverflow.com/help/how-to-ask

Give logs, code, desired effects, and actual effects. Be thorough or we can't help you. Don't post code without putting it in a code block (the <> button on the post - select "C-type Language"): syntax highlighting makes everything easier, and it keeps the post tidy.
