-Solved- No exe or usable files? How use?

So I downloaded the Forge 1.15.2-31.1.0 files and extracted them and no where can I find where to actually Install? its just full of .json and .class files, and I cant find anyone else with this problem. all the videos iv been told about, they go to download, they get a file to click on and them bam they are done. I got absolutely none of that  (Not one single Jar file anywhere either)

Make sure you've downloaded the installer (not the mdk, source, etc) on the download page.

I have and they only come in multiple files with .json and .class files nothing I can use  hence the confusion.

The installer download should only download a jar file. You need to run the jar file, not extract it.

Im guessing this pc is missing somting to actually run .jar? lol sorry its been like 5 years since I got Forge and its a new pc

Make sure you have Java installed. If the jar still doesn't open with Java, use Jarfix.

Pretty sure that did it, im just out of the loop and thought PCs still came with JAVA Ha dumb. Thank you David ❤️
