Minecraft crashes if I add mods to it

Even if I put 1 mod in the mods folder, it crashes saying "Unexpected Error Occurred" All of the mods are compatible with the version Im using, and it used to work fine before.

Please read the EAQ and post the appropriate logs.

There is a high chance that the 1 mod is broken/has problems.

I just narrowed down the problem even more. Minecraft can only run 3 mods without it crashing, no matter the mod. I allocated more ram and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Any more mods than 3 results in a crash

That is unlikely to be the reason.

Please read/post the crash log.

Without the log you are just stabbing in the dark.
