Ray Tracing (RTX) Setup without Nvidia RTX Graphics Card version 1.14.4

First check if you have any other versions of Java installed, if so we don't need to install new packages.

sudo update-alternatives --config java

If Java-8-openjdk isn't installed,

sudo apt install openjdk-8-jdk openjdk-8-jre

sudo update-alternatives --config java

select the version of Java for MC.

This tutorial is beneficial, although the versions are outdated as of today (Apr 2020); the instructions are worthy to understand the pattern.

I currently have: (RTX Shaders Setup) via Linux Ubuntu 19.10 with GTX 1080 running fancy graphics @ 32 chuck loading with 64FPS (VSync enabled) I use vsync because my monitor picture will tear for increase in FPS; monitor only rated at 60FPS. Running on custom built PC with AMD Ryzen 8 Core (16 threads)

Run Java Files: Note, for Ubuntu 19.10; after download of java files: (Download Installer, right-click open properties, on permissions tab, tick checkbox execute file as a program)

I am happy I recorded these sequences; all I had to do is search odinzu ray tracing rtx to get back up and running with fresh install of MC on Ubuntu; most importantly, I have shared them for free with the public to create extra awesome sauce on MC. I hope you enjoy this setup as much as I have! You may reach me here or on Discord at: https://discord.com/invite/QGPdzxH

Followed the instructions for 1.16.3 and these worked flawlessly; the only thing to consider is SEUS Renewed; I didn't create specific instructions on how to get this up and running..it is basicllly the same as Opti Fine HD, but you load the shader in the video settings. If it is already loaded in a previous version, it will still be there in the Home > .minecraft > mods directory and is compatible with OptiFineHD 1.16.3
