Posted May 11, 20205 yr I want to add new music to the end. I could do this by adding this: @Nullable @Override @OnlyIn(Dist.CLIENT) public MusicTicker.MusicType getMusicType() { return MY_NEW_MUSIC; } code to the EndDimension. I don't really wan't to use a coremod because I don't really know how to do it and it is considered bad practise
May 12, 20205 yr The best option, in my opinion, would be to just modify the sounds.json like a regular resource pack. For reference, these are the vanilla entries for this (in case you don't want to dig through hashed files to find it): "music.dragon": { "sounds": [ { "name": "music/game/end/boss", "stream": true } ] }, "music.end": { "sounds": [ { "name": "music/game/end/end", "stream": true } ] } I'm eager to learn and am prone to mistakes. Don't hesitate to tell me how I can improve.

That's easier than I thought then
