Quit Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 (edited) Just installed forge 1.15.2 and put in a couple of compatible mods in the mods folder. I have multiple forge versions, so each version's mods are separated with version-specific folders in the mods folder, as shown in this screenshot. The 1.15.2 mods load and work fine when they are outside the 1.15.2 folder, but when they are put inside, forge doesn't see them and launches without any mods. I'm posting here because for all other versions, having a version-specific mod folder works fine. If I just leave the mods outside the 1.15.2 folder, I can't launch 1.8.9 forge without crashing. I switch frequently between the two versions, so I don't want to move mods in and out of the folder every time I switch. Edited May 20, 2020 by Quit Quote

Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

You should use different launcher profiles for different versions of Forge. Each of them can point to a different game directory, and you can keep your mods separated.
