Hello!

Just a casual Minecrafter looking to liven up my game with the Battlegear Mod (which apparently requires Minecraft Forge).  Can anyone offer a more in depth tutorial on how to install this?  When I visit the board with Forge itself on it, there's no instructions for which of the six downloads to select; I don't even know where to begin! Have tried installing mods before, but never been greatly successful (if you can't tell). I have a Windows 7-running PC, if that has any influence on which link I install into the .jar location. Thank you for your help!

When I'm looking at the Downloads Direct, there are four links- Version Number, Client, Server, Source. My question was intended to ask which of these I put into the .jar folder or do I have to use all of these? Do they go in different locations?

Version Number only if you want to see what the version is for the client/server/source.

The client goes in the client jar

The server goes in the server jar.

The source goes in to MCP.

If you do not use client/server/mcp then omit what you do not use obviously.  :)
