I opend my minecraft launcher and i was about to click "play" until my laptop shutdown from lowbattery. As i restarted my laptop, i went back to minecraft launcher and clicked "play". The window changed to white and then gray and it went back to the menu while on the screen it said "game has crashed". I reinstalled minecraft and even Forge (also took all the mods out of mod file) but it still kept crashing.

Forge worked before this and now it just crashes everytime i try to play with it.

Is there anyway to fix this?

I had the same issue but with 1.16.1 32-0.75, although this issue started when I was using the 1.16 version before that. I had an unexpected crash as well (no idea what caused it); as I was starting up Minecraft I switched to chrome to turn off a video I was watching and suddenly my computer froze. I had to do a hard restart and after that I got the same issue OP has.

Solved it by uninstalling Minecraft, deleting my mods (which were only forge and worldedit) and the forge profile in the launcher. Then I manually deleted the .minecraft folder in my User/Appdata/Roaming folder. Then reinstalled everything and Forge worked again; no more crashes.

Got the solution from this thread:

You have no way to know if you have the same issue.

The issue was not even described. So far the only known thing is "there is an issue" (aka "it keeps crashing"). Which can mean literally anything.

Fair enough, let me amend my statement; I experienced the same symptoms after a similar incident, but I don't know the root cause behind either mine or OP's issue. Might be a different cause.

All I'm saying is that from a user's perspective it seems (not saying it is) to be the same problem and in my personal case following the solution posted in the thread helped me solve it. OP wrote he already tried reinstalling everything, I'm merely suggesting he deletes his .minecraft folder next time (after having made backups of his worlds ofc) and see if that solves the issue for him, same as it did for me.

If you want to get into medical terms let's use a better anology: "his heart stopped working".
Does it matter that his heart stopped working due i.e. to blunt force trauma or due to shock or due to improper medication? Yes.
Do you still apply heart massage and if necessary use a defibrillator to get the heart working again? Yes.

Sometimes solving the issue is more important than what originated it.

In the thread I linked to, the OP posted his crash reports and your replies were:
"That... should not be happening."
And:
"I got nothing then."

So its not like posting crash reports always leads to a solution. The OP in that thread solved the issue on his own by completing the steps he and I mentioned.

The least we can do is let IMSDWY try it and see if it works. That seems more useful than bickering over semantics.

Okay! So i deleted forge and minecraft completely.

i moved my mods to a different file and also made a backup file of my saved worlds, then i downloaded minecraft and forge back.

Now forge works without crashing 🙇‍♀️

Thank you so much!
