Installed 1.16.2 on Ubuntu 20.04 using the installer, then when running the profile 1.16.2-forge-33.0.0 I get a crash on startup with a NoClassDefFoundError.

Thanks - I'd totally missed that I still had that in there - Forge works fine now!!

can you tell me how im new to this

Go here and click on Start new topic, explain your problem and post the file named debug.log that is in your logs folder in the minecraft folder.

For the logs you have to go in the logs folder in your minecraft directory and upload the file named debug.log

it says i need more than 1 and how do i get the minecraft directory

Usually, the minecraft directory is in AppData/Roaming/.minecraft but if you have modified it i don't know...

i have 5 debug logs should i post all
