Getting position of block player is looking at

Im trying to get the BlockPos of the block the player is looking in order to replace a fill a 3x3 ared around it with a select block

Where am i looking at that from? Cant find it on the docs (they are freaking impossible to use) and that the only place i can think of to look. I sould also mention this is for 1.16.1

Sorry, i don't have a 1.16.1 workspace right now. Check in the World class for the rayTraceBlocks method. If it doesn't exists maybe it has been deleted or renamed.

I figured it out and its when you right click on a block with the custom item in hand
