How do I increase animal spawn rate

Hey everybody. I'm trying to make a mod to make my friends hate me, and one thing that I MUST do to peak on my annoying level is increase the spawn rate of Wandering Traders. How would I go about doing that? I would like to stay away from manually spawning them because it might not be the best for performance and I'm not good at optimizing. So what would be the best way to do that? Thank you!
