When ever I try to load forge 1.16.3, it just doesn't work. It looks fine but then it almost completely stops loading. I tried walking away for a while but it seems to just keep on loading the same think over and over. This is my first time using forge (I haven't even been able to get it open yet) so there are no mods to be loaded. I gave it 8 gigs of RAM and it didn't make a difference. I doesn't crash or anything, it just doesn't load. Please help I really want to do mods for Minecraft.

Mojang Launcher: When using the Mojang launcher debug.log is found in .minecraft\logs.

Curse/Overwolf: If you are using the Curse Launcher, their configurations break Forge's log settings, fortunately there is an easier workaround than I originally thought, this works even with Curse's installation of the Minecraft launcher as long as it is not launched THROUGH Twitch:

im attempting to use the latest version of forge for 1.16.3 and the version does not appear on my launcher settings, i am using the older launcher version which showed every other forge version BUT the 1.16.3 anyway that i can fix that?

Don't say "latest version", that can be any version depending on what time and day it is. You're using the old jar launcher?

  Trying to load a modpack i just made and keep getting this error "The game crashed: unexpected error Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Cannot get config value before config is loaded." I've skimmed through the logs but I'm not sure what I should be looking for. Im also using Neoforge

  I have a block that changes it's blockstate when you click on it with another copy of this block.   The title pretty much says it all- I'm looking for some assistance regarding doing just that- Considering I have the logic required for triggering the condition I have in mind, it's rather hard to find documentation on the correct use of EntityMixins to accomplish the goal I have in mind. Any assistance/tips would be greatly appreciated!
