Minecraft Version 1.16.3

Forge Version 34.1.22

Hello, I'm attempting to make my own modpack, but after I add/remove/modify any mod or config, my worlds are no longer able to load and get stuck on "Reading World Data...".

I have been able to repeat this with many different mods.

For example:

  1. Install Forge
  2.  Install Mods
  3. Launch Minecraft and create a world
  4. Close Minecraft
  5. Remove a mod
  6. World is no longer loadable

Are you not getting a screen asking if you want to cancel or continue?

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.

Correct, there is no option cancel or continue. Is there supposed to be one?

IIRC the screen with continue/cancel options says "There are x missing registries in this save.", which I haven't seen in this situation.

I have attached an image depicting what my game looks like.
