Posted December 6, 20204 yr So, I am new to Mods and I wanted Shaders. But for Shaders, I needed Forge. I downloaded the files, but I don't know what to do from here. I have looked through all the folders, but I can't find a .exe file or anything to actually start installing Forge. How do I get it to work? Edited December 6, 20204 yr by Zenri

What do you mean by "won't let me do anything"? I am downloading the Installer for Forge. And when I am doing the download, yes, it comes up as a .jar file. However, I can't click on it. It won't let me run it as Administrator or anything of that sort. I have Java. I reinstalled it just in case. However, I can't the run .jar file as Administrator.

Please clarify what you mean by "can't click on it", because I doubt your mouse button gets physically blocked as soon as you point your cursor at the file. What I mean by that is that whenever I click it, it will try to pull up in Internet Explorer, but it won't pull up anything else. I can't do anything in Internet Explorer, it just shows me all of my downloads.
