1.8.9 forge not working

I was playing hypixel as one does, then I had to get off so I shut down my computer. I come back turn it back on and now forge wont load. It gets all the way to finalizing then just stops. I open task manager to see if its there and sure enough, it is. I dont know why its not working so if you have any idea please let me know.

  I tested it and apparently the problem comes directly from rubidium/oculus and Valkyrien skies, they're not compatible in 1.20x... I'm maybe going to fabric then since optifine doesn't work either. Thank you anyway and have a great day!
