How to change the player model

I think this is a pretty common request, but I don't understand any of the explanations, so of possible, please give me on in baby words, in terms of Java coding. I'm using MCreator, but you can manually code stuff too, so I want to know how I would be able to change the player's looks from when he spawns into the world (I.E: Dragon Ball Z hair), and then when they hit the P key, they can change the look of their hair (I.E: Super Saiyan. But the actual model itself doesn't matter.) What I want to know is, where do I go to edit this stuff, and how do I change the player's model to look like the one I want. And then when you press the P key, it changes the hair. (Also, I would like to make a GUI screen, and some options for what you want to change the player model to) So, if you could help me with any of these things, that would be great! And please speak to me like a 5 year old bc I don't understand java language that much. Thanks so much!

We don't provide support for MCreator.

We expect you to learn Java before modding, not by modding.

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

Who is "we"? I don't mean to be rude, but it's not my fault I don't know Java. Not many people do. But I am making an effort to learn, and also, MCreator has a complete section where you can code away as if you had IDE, so if I could get some real help that would be great.

"We" refers to the members of this forum, which is for people modding using Forge directly, not MCreator.

 

Given that you are using MCreator, I would recommend using the MCreator forum https://mcreator.net/forum.

Mixing auto-generated code with human-written stuff sounds like a pretty gruelling experience to me, but maybe someone there can help.

 

If you want help with Forge, you've come to the right place. Only Forge though.

      If you are using AMD/ATI, update your drivers - get the drivers from their website - do not update via system

      Not sure why this is happening, but I would love some help. The reason I restarted the server was because I was getting an error while trying to join regarding this "Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: java.io.IOException: Root tag must be a named compound tag" Im using ServerMiner if thats any help

      Every time I try to run a modpack I am using, I get a crash error saying that it was caused by an invalid Java Runtime configuration. I have tried everything I can think of to try and debug it but nothing has worked. https://pastebin.com/ddxQTLh4

      ok i tried to disable the last mod's i installed and it is some of then, so now im going to do the classic enable and disable trick to find out which mod cause the crash. thanks for the help
