my 1.16.5 modding setup dont work

I have recently started modding minecraft and my 1.12.2 setup works fine but when i try to setup 1.16.5 everythime i run it it says:

Error: Could not find or load main class net.minecraftforge.userdev.LaunchTesting
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.minecraftforge.userdev.LaunchTesting

 

and it gives a popup that says:

found invalid graddle JVM configuration please fix java_home variable.

 

does someone know what i am doing wrong

 

btw i use jdk 11 for my setup i dont know of thats a problem.

    well the popup doesnt shop upp anymore but is was an litle message in the right down corner in intelij

    well there is an plugin for intelij with the name minecraft development so i just had to click forge mod when i made the project and that was it.
