Forge crashing and I don't know why

So my little brother's birthday is on April 10th, and I thought I'd make him a modpack or two along with the other things I'm getting him. They were working fine yesterday, but today, they've done nothing but freeze as soon as the red Mojang screen finishes loading. My personal modpack is more heavily modded than both of the ones I'm making for him and my laptop can load it fine, so I'm thinking it's an issue with one or more of the mods themselves. I made him 2 packs: one for exploring and survival mode, and the other for building/automation/creative mode. Here's a list of the mods in both:

There are so many FPS and related mods because my little brother's computer is a little slower than mine. That's also why I separated these into two mods (especially since Create is likely harder to run). I know for a fact that my brother wouldn't want to get rid of Create, Planes, Quark, Straw Golem, Torch Slabs, Pane in the Glass, Bed Benefits, Regrowth, Goblin Traders, Friendly Fire, Decorative Blocks, or Bountiful, so if they aren't the main problem, I'd like to try my best to keep them in the packs. My brother did mention that he wanted a couple more biomes and fruit trees (hence Terraqueous), so if any of the mods that I have right now that pertain to those things are the problem, could you recommend any mods that could replace them? (He only wants a few more biomes, so Biomes O' Plenty is out of the question.) If you need anything else from me to figure this out, please let me know. Thanks.
